There are so many El Salvador beach hotels, and of course more options means more competition and that means better hotel deals for everyone!

The beaches in El Salvador are one of the country's most popular attractions. Both locals and tourist like to come to the beach for the day or to spend a few fun-filled days.

I love going to the beach, I remember as a child my family would go and spend 2, 3 and even 4 days at the beach, we had a blast!

Below are some of the most popular beach hotels in El Salvador.

Costa del Sol

La Costa del Sol is my favourite beach and there are now many excellent
El Salvador beach hotels located here.

One of the most popular beach hotels here is Comfort Inn Bahia Dorada. It is a newer beach front hotel in Costa del Sol.

It has 2 beautiful pools, one is waist deep with a bar right in the middle so you can enjoy your favourite drink right there!

This is a great option for anyone planning a honeymoon and many who have gone there for their honeymoon say they loved it and plan to go back later.

And who can blame them, all the ingredients for a romantic vacation are there – warm, sunny beaches, great food with a few “cervezas” and…
an awesome view from the hotel room.

So who wouldn’t like waking up to a view like this! I know I would, and it’s only about 15 minutes from the Comalapa International Airport.

Bahia del Sol Hotel & Marina is another popular El Salvador beach hotel in a great area of Costa del Sol.

This is where the international Presidential Fishing Challenge is held, this is a very popular fishing competition and also the “catch and release” Marling Fishing Competition – a lot of fun for those who love fishing.

Bahia del Sol Hotel & Marina has over 100 rooms available where you can choose from single, double or triple deluxe suites or a town house with all the amenities you many want at a beach front hotel, it truly is a tropical paradise!

What I like about this one is that the suites are very private but close enough to the other hotel amenities like the restaurant and casino.

Not to mention the awesome pools with poolside bars. We have not stayed at Bahia del Sol Hotel yet, but will definitely give it a try for a couple of nights next time we go to El Salvador, it just sounds too good to miss it!

Some friends of ours have stayed here and they just loved it, they couldn't stop talking about the great time they had and the excellent service they received.

Another beach hotel in Costa del Sol that we like is Rancho Costa del Sol. This is a smaller, mid-range hotel with 2 large adult pools and 2 smaller ones for children.

We have stayed here a couple of times and have also come just for the day and we always like it. This isn’t a high-end hotel but it is very nice and well kept. It has 7 bungalows with A/C with private kitchen as well as many cabanas.

We prefer the cabanas for day-stays because it’s basically all need – just a place to put our things in so we can spend the day at the beach, the pool and the restaurant!

Pacific Paradise Hotel is also a very popular and affordable beach hotel in El Salvador. This one is near the Jaltepeque estuary which is great for kayaking. The hotel has over 40 rooms and also offer honeymoon vacation packages.

La Libertad

La Libertad is also very popular for its beaches and excellent surfing. So there are many El Salvador beach hotels in this area as well. You can find everything from top-notch resorts to hostels – all at very affordable prices.

Punta Roca Surf Resort is a very popular spot located in beach El Cocal. The hotel has nice bungalows with all the amenities like restaurant, swimming pool, bar and of course – the beach is just a few steps away! El Salvador beach hotels in Sonsonate

Sonsonate also has many beautiful beaches like Los Cobanos, Salinitas and Acajutla where El Salvador’s main port is located. There are several options for excellent beach hotels in this area.

In Los Cobanos (now a protected natural resource) for example we can find Los Cobanos Village Lodge.

This is a small family run hotel right in the middle of this fishing community that is famous for its fantastic diving and snorkeling spots.

This makes for great beach front accommodations at very affordable prices if you want to keep the costs down.

But of course, on the other end of the spectrum, the Royal Decameron gives you all the luxurious comfort of a 5-star beach resort in El Salvador.

They offer all-inclusive packages where you can enjoy all the in-house activities for adults and children like live shows, dance lessons.

Also the fantastic hotel amenities like spa, gym, swimming pools and more and of course all the delicious
El Salvador food you want.
