I think you'll agree with me that the beaches in El Salvador are awesome. I love La Costa del Sol, all the beaches in La Libertad El Salvador, I like all them really!

The beaches in El Salvador are all so beautiful and great fun, no matter what you are looking for. So we like to visit many of them but we do have our favourite beaches.

You must be asking yourself what the big deal about El Salvador beaches is, right?

Well, it just so happens that these beaches are considered to be some of the best in the world among surfers!!

My favourite of all the beaches in El Salvador, is La Costa del Sol, what is your favourite beach in El Salvador?

Surfing: El Salvador beaches are attracting more and more surfers but the surfing areas are not crowded at all!

Here surfers can find the perfect waves, sunny warm beaches and friendly locals without spending a fortune.

Beaches like El Sunzal, Mama Roca and others host National and Regional tournaments. El Salvador is really emerging as a "must visit" surfing destination and for good reason!

It's such an amazing experience to see rock formations, ship wrecks and the only coral reef in the America's Pacific region!

Los Cóbanos is a favourite place for snorkeling, but... how about diving in some of the crater lakes like Lake Ilopango and Coatepeque?

Shore, deep water, reef fishing, try it all, it's all here. There are several catch & release fishing tournaments held in El Salvador.

A very popular tournament is The Presidential Challenge held in Bahia del Sol Hotel & Marina in Costa del Sol.

Paddle your way through mangroves at the Jiquilisco and Barra de Santiago bays or the estuary at Costa del Sol

Kayaking the volcanic crater lakes is also a great experience, but you can also take a boat tour and just sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

You sure end this tour feeling great and invigorated by the surroundings.

Or... if surfing, snorkeling, fishing and the like are not for you, don't worry; just work on that perfect tan! Swim, relax, unwind and enjoy the sun, the big blue sky, the warm sandy beaches and the scenery; you feel renewed!
