It is expected that this new port with all its capacity will position the country on an international business level which of course will attract new investors and in the long run create more jobs for the locals.

Coatepeque Lake: Coatepeque Lake was nominated to participate in the "New 7 Wonders of the Natural World" competition and it has now advanced to the 2nd stage of the competition. have you voted yet?

In January

At this time of the year the weather in El Salvador is just perfect. There’s usually a nice cool wind blowing which makes the high temperatures more enjoyable. Also, at this time of the year, the kids have just gone back to school so everything goes back to routine which is good for travellers… tourist attractions will be less crowded, the beaches will have less visitors, so take advantage of that.

Flight deals and info

Looking around for good deals to El Salvador, we found that Taca has a promotion flying out of Washington and New York – deadline to purchase is March 12/09 Click here for more details.
