Featured Hot SpotLa Palma is one of the most important artisan towns in El Salvador and so it's one of the destinations for the Artisan Tour. There are so many things and places you can visit in La Palma El Salvador. One of my favourite is El Pital which is actually the highest peak in El Salvador at 2730m above sea level. Hiking El Pital is a must, I really recommend it. Because of its altitude, you can see flowers and animals that only live in this area. El Pital is also becoming popular for mountain biking – that is if you are into extreme sports! Camping facilities are available here as well as many affordable hostels and hotels. Another great place to visit is Miramundo, a cloud forest high up on the mountain region and so the temperature here is also quite nice! When you get to the top, you feel like you are on top of El Salvador – really!
