We love Costa del Sol for the amazing sunrises and sunsets. Here you will see some of the most stunning sunsets and beautiful sunrises along El Salvador’s coastline.

The warm air and hot sandy beaches make this such a great beach to just sit back and relax… and jump in the water now and then!

El Majahual

El Majahual is also one of the most popular beaches in El Salvador, especially with locals and backpackers.

It can get pretty crowded here on weekends and holidays, it's so popular that it even has a song named after it!

El Salvador beaches are so much fun, there are so many different activities to do. Are you interested in surfing, fishing, scuba diving or other beach activities? You've come to right place!

There is always something to do in El Majahual, whether it’s going for a swim, lying on the beach sun tanning, there are even pony rides for the kids, here is my little cousin enjoying his pony ride!

From this beach, you can see the pier or El Puerto de La Libertad as it's referred to in El Salvador.

After spending a fun filled morning on the beach we would head to one of the local eateries there.

The food is delicious and you get a nice view of the beach - what a treat!

Oh, and by the way, the sunsets at El Majahual are also pretty good!

Other beaches...

Some of the most popular beaches are located in La Libertad. I know that Punta Roca and El Sunzal are super popular with surfers as they are excellent waves and barrels for surfing.

El Tunco beach is also very popular being right next to El Sunzal is also very popular with surfers. There are several excellent surf shops in the area for renting and repairs. Being so popular, several hostels have also opened up here and some have very good reviews.

So no matter what beaches you visit in El Salvador, you will find one or two that you will absolutely fall in love with. My family and I have an awesome time when we go to the beach, it's always fun, exciting and relaxing!

So make sure you come by and spend a day at one of the beautiful beaches in El Salvador!
