And now that tourism in El Salvador is picking up, more and more resorts are opening – which is great for us travellers as that means better, competitive rates!!

So now is the best time to try one of these beatiful El Salvador resorts.

Below I will list two El Salvador resorts. They vary in size and services but one thing they have in common… they both offer a great, comfortable stay at reasonable prices!

Because this area is very popular with surfers, they also offer surf board rentals and also offer other types of tours like hiking to El Pital, fishing and golf.

The room are beautiful, with very comfortable beds and with all the surrounding of a tropical beach, it all makes you feel like you are in a small tropical paradise of your own!

Las Hojas Resort: This is located in Las Hojas beach in La Paz not too far from the Comalapa airport.

The resort has a mini golf that is super fun, tennis and basketball courts, games room, massage rooms and you can also go horse back riding along the beach – this is really nice, you should really try it!

The bungalows are just beautiful and they have different sizes depending on your needs. But I tell you, it is so awesome and relaxing to be able to sit on the lounge chairs on the lawn being able to hear the waves hit beach while watching the sun set! It’s so awesome!

The restaurant here is an attraction in itself. It is an ocean view restaurant and you get to enjoy all types of national and international meals and drinks – yum!

I think Las Hojas resort offers some of the best rates out there, just imagine that for less than $60.00/night (1/2 price for children) you get a comfortable sleep, all the amenities of the resort, and meals.
