Hostels in SuchitotoLos Almendros de San Lorenzo: This is a beautiful place that many travellers call "the little paradise" in Suchitoto! Pascal, the owner, makes you feel right at home. The colonial architecture, lush tropical plants and the great service make it a top pick in Suchitoto. La Posada de Suchitlan: It offers one of the best views of Suchitlan Lake! This is a fantastic place to stay at. Great service, excellent food, clean and comfortable. In my opinion, one of the best ones in Suchitoto (Barrio San Jose). Las Puertas de Suchitoto: Centrally located near Suchitoto's town square, it's an excellent option for accommodation. Very clean rooms that are uniquely decorated, and a delicious breakfast is included.
Hostels in La LibertadEsencia Nativa: Right on El Zonte beach with a great view. There are good reviews of this hostel and it has rooms with a/c, pool, and restaurant. The owner is an avid surfer and offers surf lessons; they also have surf equipment rentals and can also arrange surf tours to other beaches in El Salvador. Hotel Tekuani Kal: On playa El Tunco, and it's a favoured place for surfers. Only a short walk to other bars and restaurants in El Tunco. Both locals and tourists agree that this is a great place to stay when on a budget. The Laughing Pelican: A great place for honeymooners and those looking for a quiet, romantic place. I also like the fact that the owners volunteer to help children get a good education.
