I’m sure it must have taken the photographer and the pilot a long time to get it “just right” like they did here.

I have seen other shots of this El Salvador volcano complex, but none like this one – this is for sure a one-of-a-kind shot.

Can you tell which one is which?

You can easily see the Santa Ana or Llamatepeq volcano, the highest volcano in El Salvador at 2381m a.s.l.

El Cerro Verde – well, I guess the name says it all.

The Izalco volcano is the youngest volcano in El Salvador and the Americas.

It began forming in 1770 and it continued erupting for 187 years until it became what you see today…

Due to its almost perfect cone shape it has been dubbed as “The Lighthouse of the Pacific”
