Suchitoto El Salvador - rich in art & culture
Suchitoto El Salvador is a beautiful colonial town that has made a great come back after the years of the civil war.
Suchitoto is rich in art and culture and so it became a destination town for the Artisan Tour. You really need to take a couple of days here to really explore the "urban" and country side of Suchitoto, you'll be amazed at what you find and see... I know I was!

I love the cobble stone streets and colonial architecture. At first glance, it may seem like time has stopped here but... Once you start walking around and visiting places, you realize that this is not the case.
One thing I will recommend though is that you do not forget your camera when visiting Suchitoto El Salvador. The natural beauty of this place is amazing as well as the people who live here. Have you lived or visited Suchitoto before? Tell us what you think of Suchitoto and what you liked the most, we'd love to hear from you!
Don't let this colonial style town fool you though, if you think that there's nothing to do here... well, think again! There are endless things to do in Suchitoto, right around the town and also in the country side.

It seems like the rocks have been carefully placed by someone, but it's all natural. The waterfall drops about 30m, you just really have to see this place, it's amazing! The best place to visit the Los Tercios waterfall is between May and October (the rainy season), the waters have a stronger current
